Welcome to 5th grade in Mrs. Borst's room! I am so excited to be your teacher this year. What a big change. Many of you already know me from 1st grade. How wonderful to be teaching your children again. Here's a little info about me... Professionally, this will be my 14 year as a teacher. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. My favorite thing about teaching is helping the students develop a love of learning. I love building relationships with the families of my students, too! Reading, Math, Science, and Writing are just some of the many things I love to teach!! Personally I have been married for 25 years. I have 2 daughters who just graduated college with teaching degrees! I love that they followed in my footsteps! I am the mom of many fur babies, too. We have Charlie and Sadie our dogs, Finn the cat, and Poppy and Piper the guinea pigs. I am also "grandma" to my daughter's rabbit, Beans!...
